About Our Wolf Pack

Our wolves used to live in a zoo, but now they have a big 10-acre area to roam around in. There are two dens for them, but they can make their own if they want. This place has turned into their playground, they have 10 acres of forest with a big one-acre pond.where they can run and play as much as they want. You’ll probably see them all running around when the sun goes down.

The wolves were born in a zoo located in southern Ontario, but they will now enjoy a significantly larger and more natural habitat for their new home.

The wolves now roam freely across a vast 10-acre territory. Within this space, there are two dens available, but the wolves are also welcome to create their own if they prefer. This area has become their playground, complete with a one-acre pond. Additionally, there are 7 acres of dense forest and a spacious field where they can run and play to their heart’s content. It’s important to remember, they no longer need to concern themselves with the threat of being hunted or trapped.

Once we are ready to take bookings you can book directly online.

There are a total of 11 in the pack 5 black and 6 gray.

Chalets starting at $600 (plus applicable taxes) per night, our chalets are equipped to accommodate up to four people comfortably. Each chalet features a queen-sized bed and a pull-out queen size sofa.

Our experience is priced at $600 per night, but it’s important to take into account several factors that contribute to this cost.  Firstly, we are responsible for caring for a total of 11 wolves, each of which consumes between 5-7 pounds of meat per day. This translates to an average monthly food requirement of 2,310 pounds of meat, which is significantly higher than what the average family of 4 in Canada consumes in a month, approximately 31 times more. In addition to the wolf care expenses, we also incur costs for our staff who maintain and clean the rooms. Our chalets are located separately from the main hotel, which results in more time and effort to clean the chalets. There are various other expenses to consider, such as construction and fencing costs, the initial purchase of the wolves, ongoing maintenance, and general upkeep of the chalets. In terms of legality, we needed to obtain comprehensive insurance coverage to protect against any unforeseen incidents involving our guests, staff, or the wolves themselves. Additionally, we had to adhere to various regulations and obtain necessary permits, which incurred associated costs. These are just a few examples of the numerous factors contributing to the overall cost of our unique experience.

It is very likely that you will see wolves during the stay but we can’t guarantee it. If you book whales watching or bear watching you are going to pay anywhere from 160.+ per person for a couple of hours and no guarantee to see anything. In the Scandinavian country they offer sleeping under the stars in a glass bedroom for 400.00 Euro per night minimum 3 night stay.We are offering the same ,sleep under the stars in a glass bedroom plus you get the opportunity to sleep with the wolves. Come and look at the product and see what’s being offered .

Pets are NOT allowed in the chalets. If you want to bring your pet to the resort you will need to stay in one of our regular hotel rooms.

No, you can’t pet or cuddle the wolves during the “Sleeping with the Wolves” experience or any other similar wolf-related activity. Wolves are wild animals, and they have natural behaviors and instincts that should be respected and observed from a safe distance.

We feed the wolves daily and conduct regular headcounts. These measures help ensure the well-being of the wolves and minimize the risk of escapes or any unexpected issues. Regrettably, we are unable to employ GPS tracking devices on the wolves without resorting to methods such as applying colors to them, which we are reluctant to do.

To ensure the wolves couldn’t dig under and escape, the compound has a  4-foot dig barrier placed on the surface of the ground and securely fastened to the vertical fence, with only a few inches of topsoil covering it.. This extensive depth was planned and executed as a part of our comprehensive security measures.

Beginning in the summer of 2024, the wilderness tour will go around the perimeter of the wolf compound.
